How Mug up learning destroys students carrier in schools

In my opinion, I think there is no one among us who disbelieve that most schools favour mug up learning. The one who is fast in verbal learning, is appreciated by teachers and the community.

What is more annoying the most of teachers didn't even try to come out from their comfortable zone and ask the student about the concept instead of verbal learning. We can't blame only teachers, the teacher is responsible but it is also responsibility of parents to look towards their child how his mentality is developing. If one were to look for the primary cause of this verbal learning is lack of good curriculum. A school functions good when the head of institution is wise, educated and knows how teachers are teaching in classrooms.

When a teacher focuses on mug up learning on the students, initially a student earns applause from the teacher and next time what student is doing he makes more efforts to boost up his/her mug up learning, it has short term benefit in school but after schooling it has long term effects on the daily life of a student for instance the student is not able to write a application from his own mind, he/she lacks in confidence, he/she is not able to earn his livelihood etc.

What is needed is a comprehensive strategy to preserve the future of our students. We should focus on the mentality of a student instead of making him a Book Worm. A students mind opens when he grasps the concept, he/she becomes more confident to write the answer of any question in his own words instead remaining a parasite on books. The disastrous effect of this mug up learning is that after a period of time the student becomes irritate with this type of learning and ultimately at one stage he/she gives up and opts for labour work.

When a student is able to grasp and understand any concept and is able to read and make notes by his own, develops confidence in him and makes him a good speaker.

At last I am requesting teachers to concentrate on students conceptual learning instead of making him a Book Worm.
